The 2023 Canada Open is coming to Vancouver’s Canada Place and you won’t want to miss this incredible event! From February 23rd to 25th, top Taekwondo athletes from 22 countries, including Canada’s very own Tokyo Olympian Skylar Park from Winnipeg, MB, will compete in both Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae disciplines for international ranking points towards World Championships and Olympic Games.
This international G2 event, sanctioned by World Taekwondo, is one of only two G2 events in the Pan American region this year, making it a significant opportunity for our elite Canadian athletes to compete against the world’s best and gain valuable points towards World and Olympic rankings. Notably, this year’s Canada Open will feature the top-ranked Korean National Team for the first time, making it an even more thrilling experience.
Get your tickets now and mark your calendar for the first tournament of the season in the Pan American Taekwondo region, and set the standard for all other events this year. Join us in welcoming the Taekwondo world to Vancouver’s Canada Place from February 23rd to 25th!
