The Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond (7311 Westminster Hwy, Richmond) has given TKD BC and guests a reduced rate for out-of-towners staying during the tournament. We do have discounted room rates as follows (applicable to both single and double occupancy):
Regular plaza/courtyard room: $149 + taxes
1-bedroom suite: $179 + taxes
2-bedroom suite: $229 + taxes
People can call 604-278-555 or toll-free 1-800-663-2878 and quote “Taekwondo BC” to book with these rates. I was also able to get the hotel to include all overnight parking (normally $16.75/night), and wifi (normally $9.95/day). There is also a free shuttle bus to and from YVR about every 30 min. Rates will also be extended for up to 3 days before and 3 days after the event. The venue is a short 8 min walk from the hotel.
